Deep breathing….. Since my re-proposal, I have been working through a few concepts, all of which are coming across too literally for my taste and are not communicating what I want to say. I am certain of my purpose and direction that I stated in the re-proposal, but I feel I am not pushing far enough away form the familiar context of a garment. I keep circling back to a few things:
- I am interested in the sculptural form, but do not feel I have the time or space to execute.
- I am still persueing / studying the idea of fabric collage / thread drawing.
I will continue working and check in later…….
